We offer accupuncture and massage in a spa-like atmosphere which combined with highest level IVF care will provide a unique IVF boutique experience.

The Co Culture of embryos uses cumulus cells that are living, active, dividing cells that filter out bad components while supplying growth factors to the embryo. They also produce hyaluronic acid which helps mature the eggs and is important for embryo development. At retrieval, after aspirating a patient's follicles, we Co Culture her cumulus cells with the fertilized embryo to aid growth and improved implantation. Unlike most culture media that embryos are placed into, Co Culture cells can modify the amount of nutrients they supply based on the individual needs of the embryos.
East Coast Fertility has been selected to participate with 11 other centers nationally in an FDA approved research study on oocyte (egg) freezing. The title of the study is "Safety and Effectiveness of ViaCyte Freeze and Thaw Media Kits for the manufacturing of Oocytes for Future Use in Assisted Reproductive Technology". This study will provide free IVF to patients who qualify including male factor cases for women under age 36. IVF is performed normally up through retrieval and freezing of the oocytes. The patient returns for fertilization and embryo transfer within 3 months. Prior studies using similar techniques and media resulted in a 36% live birth rate per transfer.
If you are interested in conceiving this year, you may be eligible to participate in the study. Some of the IVF costs may be subsidized. For more information contact Lorraine Karagannis, NP, Research Coordinator @ 516-939-2229 or lkaragannis@eastcoastfertility.com
Single Embryo Transfer Program
The Single Embryo Transfer Program has been initiated at ECF. It has been a little over 3 years since East Coast Fertility opened our new state of the art IVF lab under the direction of one of the most experienced and talented embryology directors in the nation, John Moschella. East Coast Fertility has been nationally recognized for combining its high success with minimal risk. Unlike other highly successful programs, East Coast Fertility pledges to eliminate risky triplet pregnancies and follows through with that pledge. Confidence in our high quality embryology laboratory and immensely successful embryo cryopreservation program has afforded the physicians the ability to limit the number of embryos transferred, essentially eliminating the risk of triplets. To encourage good prognosis patients to limit the number of embryos transferred and thereby eliminate the high risk multiple pregnancy, we have recently initiated an attractive financial incentive for patients who elect to transfer single embryos. For the cost of an IVF cycle, patients doing the single embryo transfer program will receive free cryopreservation of their embryos and up to three free regular ECF frozen embryo transfers. This represents a savings of up to over $12,000 and ensures a better chance of a healthy baby.
